The Filter Illusion

When I see myself through a filter, I am suddenly perfect. Smooth complexion, lush lips, big eyes And perfect Eyebrows, beautifully styled hair and make up.

But where am I? My history, my pain and my joy, my soul?

Is not being me really beautiful?

We’ve all been there — swiping through filters that give us flawless skin, plump lips, bigger eyes, perfect brows. It’s almost magical, right? But where is the real you in that image? Where’s your history, your personality, your essence?
